After searching long and hard for the right property, in the right location, we chose El Picadero as the ideal spot to offer a Spanish Bed and Breakfast retreat to visitors that would like to enjoy the beauty and natural charm of Spain’s breathtaking Andalucia.

B and B Alora

Our Bed and Breakfast, El Picadero, is situated in the heart of Andalucia, in Valle Du Sol near the tranquil town of Alora, but we are only a 25 minute drive, or train journey, from lively Malaga, on the Costa Del Sol.

Alora is the ideal spot to base yourself in Andalucia, as we are only 2 km from the lakes at El Chorro which has a sandy beach, 5km from two National Parks, the El Chorro National Park and the Parque Ardales. Both Andalucian National Parks are popular with photographers, walkers, climbers, twitchers and fishermen alike.

Our bed and breakfast is close to two top golf courses in Andalucia, the top all-weather racetrack, not to mention only 25 minutes from watching Malaga take on the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona!

We can arrange and book activities for guests in advance - simply let us know what you want to do and we can arrange it for you!

El Picadero Guesthouse

The main building of the Bed and Breakfast houses the lounge, and the two large, modern guest bedrooms.

The guest bedrooms are en-suite with their own private shower room, TV, DVD, Video, Tea and Coffee Tray, Honour Bar, a Shared Balcony with stunning panoramic views of the mountains and the surrounding countryside, and each room comes with guaranteed off-road parking.

Guests are welcome to use the 180 square metre terrace, set with sunbeds, tables, chairs and the best hospitality, as well as our floodlit swimming pool, which is also available for guests to use at their leisure.
